Texas Man loses nine fingers and both of his feet due to the flu and it’s complications

A Fort Worth, Texas man, named Brian Herndon, who was diagnosed with the flu on January 4th, lost both his feet and nine fingers due to the flu and it’s complications. He is 51 years old and developed both the deadly flu virus and pneumonia. He developed something called, disseminated intravascular coagulopathy. The condition affects blood flow starting in the fingers and feet. He had to get 9 of his fingers and both of his feet amputated due to this condition. He has a GoFundMe page set up to help his family with the prosthetics costs.
